Aging Well, a guide from Fairfax County Department of Family Services, provides information on services, programs, recreational activities, educational opportunities, and community engagement for older adults, people with disabilities, and caregivers.
The National Institute on Aging (NIA), part of the National Institutes of Health, asserts that effective planning for aging in place must address home safety, transportation, household chores, personal care, money management, health care, and meals.
