The Swim team, Division XIII Champs, offers an opportunity for the children to develop and compete in the sport of swimming. The team competes with other similar teams as part of the Northern Virginia Swim League (NVSL). Membership is open to youths from the age of 6 through the summer following graduation from high school (normally, around 18). The program is developmental in nature and the main goal is to foster building confidence in, and mastery of competitive swimming. The parents/guardians of all participants are expected to volunteer in some capacity to help run the swim program or assist at meets. |
